    GC-MS/MS Determination of 17 Phthalic Acid Esters in Vegetables and Soils

    • GC-MS/MS was applied to the determination of 17 phthalic acid esters in vegetables and soils. The vegetable sample was extracted by homogenizing with acetonitrile and the soil sample was extracted by oscillation with water and acetonitrile. The DB-1701MS chromatographic column was used for GC separation and the multiple reaction monitoring mode was adopted in MS determination. Linear relationships between values of peak area and mass concentration of 17 phthalic acid esters were kept in the same range of 2.00-500 μg·L-1,with lower limits of determination (10S/N) in the range of 0.01-0.32 μg·kg-1. On the base of blank sample,test for recovery was made by standard addition method; values of recovery found were in the range of 71.1%-118%,with RSD′s (n=6) in the range of 0.20%-15%.
